RECLAIM (RE-ISSUE)KEEP OF KALESSINIndie Recordings EP''Reclaim'' has now become something like a cult ''issue''. It got a cult status among the fans of Keep of Kalessin, if you get what I mean. ''Reclaim'' marked the new music area of Keep of Kalessin since the sound has become fuller comparing to their previous record released in 1999 ''Agnen: A Journey Through the Dark''. It was also something like the returning album of KOK back then since it was originally published in 2003 some four years after the ''Agnen'' but anyway we need to wait yet 3 more years for the final and bombastic comeback of this now very well Norwegian act. So, it is the record that has marked the new path, but, also it stays in the middle of their discography. EP starts with the intro ''Traveller'' and then comes track entitled ''IX''. Both songs are directly inspired by the book and movie ''Dune'' so you are going to find there some samples as well. I don't know but it really remains me on Blind Guardian. Just rememebr the track ''Traveler in Time'' :) and you will surly notcie of what i am thinking about. Actually, I find somehow amusing to me to drown such a parallels between Keep of Kalessin and Blind Guardian. The next ones ''Come Damnation''. Well, this one has later become a great hit probably because of the video and very heavy and melodic vibe and music approach. Oh, and not to forget Attila Csihar vocals as well. He has done the great job in this particular one although I thing that Thebon is perfect suiting for the music of KOK. And there are two more tracks both announcing what is to come from KOK in the future. So, doubtless ''Reclaim'' surly is cornerstone in the biography and discography of Keep of Kalessin. Also, now we have this re-issue that Indie has done. This particular re-issue has the new cover artwork comparing to original one and also there are two more bonus songs. So, you are going to hear ''Come Damnation'' and title track ''Reclaim'' live. to be honest the sound of these live titles offers nothing spectacular, but, they serve as bonuses well.
