POWER DIVEVOICES OF DESTINYMassacre CDOk, I really don't want to be hard on this one but there is something that's badly missing concerning Voices of Destiny. All in all, to make it short they have just released their latest issue for Massacre Records and th tile for it is ''Power Dive''. We are speaking here about some sort of Gothic female fronted metal with some harsh and scream-like male vocals and with obvious symphonic approach. The music has some potential to offer, there is no doubt about it, but yet female vocals and lines sounds somehow very naive, if you get what I mean. While the keyboard-work is ok done, on the other hand female vocals remain the problem. You can not blame it on the production since it is also very well done, but yet I am trying to imagine this band without female vocals and from my point of you ti would sounds better indeed. When it comes to their next effort they definitely should try to do something with the female vocals and try to remain the same for the rest of the record. Marko Miranovic (5.5) |
