FIRST LIGHTNOMAD SONMetal on Metal CDFirst Light is a kind of Heavy Doom Metal record. The music is, more or less, written in slow tempo. There’s no question that his band has this old-school feeling within such as it is case with other Metal on Metal recordings. The group actually comes from Malta and from every part of the book one could notice obvious Christian influences. As it is case with other Metal on Metal releases the booklet and cover artwork are greatly done so the whole layout is very nice and professional done. The production is also quite good-actually great for these kinds of bands and music. Except the guitars which definitely play the main part in the music also organic keyboards are ever-present in the background. These organs give a kind of specific and dim atmosphere to the music. The vocals are typical mixture between heavy and doom metal waters. First Light has 8 hymns including Delirium one instrumental. So, all in all this is one of the best records from Metal on Metal label. Nenad Petrović (8.5) |
