Once again, duo known as Nox Arcana, will lead you on a journey through mysterious world of pirates an dark deep seas. They have already approved to be a master of this sub-genre so ’Phantoms of the High Seas’ is yet another approve of a fantastic material full of ambience and ghost-haunted ships. As always, when it comes to music of Nox Arcana, a person can truly imagine himself/herself sailing over grim and forsaken oceans. Of course, this time as always, the music is based upon keyboards including also some samples. Here and there, you can notice few narrations parts. The booklet is once again nicely done. But this time cover and whole visual concept stands more for some Pirate-like themes. Together with monumental, bombastic and epic record ’Blood of the Dragons’, album entitled ’Phantoms of the High Seas’ is surely one of the best efforts from Nox Arcana. Marko Miranović (8) |
