More epic than its precursor, album brings set of tracks covered in cold of winter and sorrowful whitening. Material is very emotional and wide in arrangement, bringing the spirit of ancient times to life. With music of Ereb Altor, you’ll withstand the clash of the warriors, blood through landscapes bound in snow and ice…world of Vikings and hunting creed. Besides classical doom approach for which band stands, they doesn’t fear to incorporate almost operatic and classical elements, which gives very dramatical and almost soundtrack touch feel to this album. Cold but inspiring, heavy but epical, that’s the ‘’The End’’ album in short words. It’s clearly that Ereb Altor grows into the very interesting act, as they play both on quality and unique expression. I said unique as bands like Bathory and Einherjer are past now, and what these guys are doing, is more than needed for today’s metal scene.
