ZOMBIE INFLUXBUZZ-WORKSMonolith Graphics CDOk, this is indeed something different comparing to other Nox Arcana recordings. Buzz-works is actually a studio-project of Jeff Hartz and this time he teamed his potentials with two artists from Nox Arcana- namly: Joseph Vargo and William Piotrowski. The final result is one enthusiastic and eerie material full of samples from various probably older horror films. Indeed, few songs have remained me on Nox Arcana, becuase (I guess), they were composed by Joseph and William, but other tracks are more darkened, scary and ambient-like. The atmosphere is very dark and eerie cold. I already have a chance to face with some works like this. Mainly I received such CDs from Cold Meat Industries. We are, more or less, speaking here about minimalistic music which is slow and comparing to classic Nox Arcana's released surly less melodic. Even some tracks are just consisting of some samples and few horror-like sounds in the background. Despite this musical minimalism I think that Jeff Hartz has, in team with Willian and Jospeh, reached some artistic lavel which is highly recommaned to all those who are more into some kind of ambient music be it more virtuous or less melodic. I have a chance to here even more minimalistic bands comparing to this particular opus but yet their music have something unnatural and ill within. Such is the case with ''Zombie Influx''. During the listening of this CD you will have a chance to feel living dead all around you and various samples will possessed you with panic, fear and other similar unpleasing emotions. So, if you're more into searching for some eerie and ambient acts you should probably like ''Zombie Influx'' a lot. One thing is for sue, this isn't definitely CD for everyone out there!
